Acquisitions Analyst Job Description

The Acquisitions Analyst will play a vital role in supporting the acquisition and finance teams with tasks such as financial analysis, market research, due diligence, investment presentations, and pipeline management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Conducting thorough financial analysis and underwriting of potential investments.
  2. Reviewing offering memoranda and seller-provided materials such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows.
  3. Performing market research and analysis to support investment decision-making.
  4. Preparing high-quality presentation decks that effectively communicate key insights and findings.
  5. Assisting in property-level due diligence, including lease review, rent roll, loan documents, and coordinating with third parties.
  6. Conducting market-level due diligence, including sale and lease comparables and investment trends.
  7. Organizing and maintaining the acquisition pipeline to ensure efficient and effective deal flow.
  8. Providing administrative support to the acquisition and finance teams, including data entry, reporting, and communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, or accounting (MBA preferred).
  • 2-5 years of experience in real estate asset management, finance, or acquisitions.
  • Proficiency in underwriting and analyzing real estate opportunities, including experience with quantitative evaluation and analysis (ROI, cash flow, NOI).
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills are required, along with strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to produce error-free work under tight deadlines with minimal oversight.
  • Unquestionable integrity and ethics, as well as a team-oriented mindset with problem-solving skills.
