Job Title: Financial Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate is a CPA with strong expertise in US GAAP, end-to-end accounting, and financial analysis, and is an expert user of financial software.

This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial functions, generating daily and weekly financial reports, and supporting financial operations through efficient data extraction, reconciliation, and upload preparation.

This is a fully remote position requiring strict adherence to EST working hours.

Scope of Work:
  • Cash Position Management: Monitor daily cash balances across multiple bank accounts, ensuring optimal liquidity and flagging variances or unusual movements.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements to the general ledger on a regular basis, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Financial Reporting: Produce and distribute daily and weekly financial dashboards, including cash position summaries, inflows/outflows, and burn rate analysis.
  • Financial Planning: Prepare short-term and long-term financial forecasts, working closely with accounting teams to project financial needs and availability.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Pull and consolidate banking data from multiple financial institutions and portals
  • Prepare daily and weekly financial reports for finance leadership
  • Maintain financial models and update forecasts regularly
  • Upload and post financial transactions in financial software
  • Assist with financial close processes by providing reconciled financial data
  • Support audit and compliance initiatives related to financial operations
Qualifications:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with exposure to healthcare preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and financial analysis standards
  • Extensive experience using financial software
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and data manipulation
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with excellent time management
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in multi-entity or multi-bank structures
  • Knowledge of financial planning systems/tools
