Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented accounting professional to join our team as a Senior Accountant. As a key member of the financial operations team, you will play a crucial part in month-end closing, financial reporting, and SEC filings.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with a focus on financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. They will be proficient in QuickBooks and other financial software, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
In this fully remote role, you will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide high-quality financial data and support to inform business decisions. You will be responsible for close the books monthly, generate financial reports, reconcile bank statements, process invoices, and manage payment reconciliations.
You will also assist in preparing quarterly and annual SEC reports, and provide transaction details to support the CFO with audits and SEC filings. The successful candidate will be highly organized, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
