Financial Operations Specialist

This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance, and leadership.
The Financial Operations Specialist will oversee all aspects of accounting, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. They will work closely with the leadership team to ensure that financial data is accurate, reliable, and supports business decisions.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with the annual budgeting process, collaborate with department heads to align on goals, and track variances monthly.
- Cash Flow Management: Create rolling 12-month forecasts updated monthly, monitor and adjust capital allocations to meet business objectives, and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient funds are available to support operations.
Maintaining compliance with regulatory and tax requirements, implementing new software tools to improve accuracy and process scalability, and developing automated processes for payroll, expense reporting, and tax filings are also key responsibilities.
