Eviction Case Preparation Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and assertive professional to take ownership of eviction case preparation and filings from end to end. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written English skills, legal writing experience, and a strong familiarity with U.S. legal systems or forms, especially landlord-tenant law.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare complex legal documents, including Notices, Summons & Complaints, Declarations, exhibits, Motions for default, writs of restitution, stipulations, and more.
  • Manage timelines and workflows using internal software tools and ensure seamless coordination with third-party providers.
  • Coordinate process service with reliable providers to guarantee timely and accurate service.
  • File cases electronically (or by mail, where required) with courts across WA, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
  • Track hearing schedules, filings, service affidavits, and maintain accurate records of all legal actions per property and tenant.
  • Collaborate closely with our in-house attorney for supervision and sign-off, ensuring high-quality work.
  • Maintain detailed records of expenses and legal billings for all cases, facilitating efficient financial management.
  • Continuously improve templates and SOPs for consistency and efficiency, driving excellence in our processes.

Requirements:
  • Legal or paralegal education (JD or LLB degree preferred)
  • At least 2 years of experience in litigation support, paralegal work, or eviction processing
  • Excellent written English (legal writing and email communication)
  • Demonstrated ability to draft pleadings and assemble court-ready documents
  • Strong familiarity with U.S. legal systems or forms, especially landlord-tenant law
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning internal software tools
  • Detail-oriented and organized under tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in property management, housing, or real estate law
  • Familiarity with U.S. e-filing systems (Odyssey, WA Courts portal, etc.)
  • Experience working in a remote BPO legal team
