Job Summary

Creative professionals sought for a diligent and knowledgeable Tax Specialist (Enrolled Agent) to join the finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, advising clients on tax-related matters, and ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local tax laws.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Tax Return Preparation and Review
  • Tax Planning and Compliance Advice
  • Representation Before IRS
  • Assistance in Preparing Responses to IRS Notices
  • Timely and Accurate Filings
  • Coordinating with Cross-Functional Teams
  • Keeping Up-to-Date with U.S. Tax Laws and International Tax Treaties
  • Supporting ITIN Application and Acceptance Agent Services
  • Training Junior Staff or Tax Associates
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in U.S. tax preparation and consulting.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. tax codes, especially for individuals and small businesses.
  • Experience with tax software (e.g., Drake, ProSeries, UltraTax, or similar).
  • Familiarity with FATCA, FBAR, and foreign asset reporting.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients.
  • Proficient with taxation software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Experience with complex tax issues and strategies is a plus.
