Accountant (Tax Professional)

We are seeking a skilled tax professional to perform various accounting-related functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in tax preparation, research, and planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate and complete tax returns for individuals and businesses.
  • Conduct thorough research of all necessary laws prior to submitting a return to the reviewer.
  • Provide reviewer with a complete and accurate return to avoid open items.
  • Prepare tax projections and planning tasks for clients.
  • Handle correspondences with regulatory agencies and perform various tasks.
  • Perform external bookkeeping and provide internal and external financial support for our clients.
  • Review all monthly and quarterly financial data and prepare year-end reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance-related field.
  • Proficient in tax and accounting software/tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, QuickBooks, CCH Access/ProFX Tax, Intelliconnect Tax Research, Intelliforms, Tax Tools, CFS Payroll, Practice Management Time Entry, Accounting Research, PFX Tax Planning, Proseries Tax Planner, CCH Engagement External Bookkeeper.
  • Licensed as a certified public accountant is a plus.

This role requires excellent analytical skills, data management, and reporting abilities. You must be able to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed.
