About the role

As the Senior Accounting Supervisor at Arvin International Marketing Inc.', you will play a vital role in maintaining the company's financial records and reporting. Based in Pasay City Metro Manila, this full-time position will see you overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all financial reporting.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervising a team of accounting professionals and delegating tasks effectively
  2. Preparing and reviewing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  3. Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations
  4. Analyzing financial data and providing insights to help drive strategic decision-making
  5. Implementing and maintaining robust internal controls and accounting procedures
  6. Coordinating with other departments to gather and reconcile financial information
  7. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing them
  8. Providing training and guidance to more junior members of the accounting team

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 8 years of experience in a senior accounting or finance role, preferably within the Financial Accounting & Reporting industry
  2. Proven track record of managing a team of accounting professionals and leading projects
  3. Excellent knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
