As a certified payroll expert, you will ensure successful deployment by architecting, configuring, and testing the Workday solution to meet the specific needs of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expertise in absence and time tracking solutions.
  • Lead the following tasks: gather and document client business requirements, design and configure the Workday solution, demonstrate configurations through prototype systems, assist in testing, and complete knowledge transfer to clients.
  • Work with the data conversion team to help convert legacy data into Workday.
  • Assist the integration consulting team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions.
  • Mentor new consultants and serve as a professional role model and coach others on product knowledge.
  • Resolve complex tasks/requirements when other team members need support.
  • Facilitate clients' intellectual and practical adoption of Workday best practices.
  • Maintain clients' ongoing satisfaction, ensuring smooth transitions once in production.
  • Provide regular status reports to project managers keeping them apprised of overall project status.
  • Innovate and suggest new approaches and tools to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure functional solutions are compatible with downstream data translation.
  • Demonstrate computational thinking and identify problem components, analyze patterns, remove inefficient configurations or processes, and construct algorithmic solutions scalable to ongoing client needs.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience implementing combination of payroll/absence/time tracking solutions.
  • Active Workday Payroll Certification.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous consulting experience with a consulting/software company.
  • Experience configuring and deploying Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate, or similar applications.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Functional experience in one or more areas: payroll, absence, and/or time tracking.
  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to effectively manage against timelines and goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities.
  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.

Expected travel +/-30% depending on project.
