
Compensation Manager

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead compensation strategy, benefits programs, and payroll interface processes for a global organization. The successful candidate will oversee salary benchmarking, total compensation analysis, benefits enrollment and renewal oversight, and ensure compliance with wage laws and benefits-related regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and regulations. They will be able to manage complex processes and communicate effectively with diverse staff.
This role requires strong analytical, reporting, and Excel skills. Proficiency with HRIS, payroll, and benefits administration systems is also essential.
Job Responsibilities- Compensation Strategy:
- Develop, implement, and manage compensation structures, salary scales, and incentive structures
- Conduct market analysis and salary benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable pay structures
- Benefits Administration:
- Oversee benefits enrollment, renewals, and eligibility tracking (health, dental, vision, disability, retirement, etc.)
- Analyze usage trends and make recommendations for cost-effective benefit design
- Payroll Operations:
- Oversee payroll preparation, ensuring payroll is fully submitted to the CHRO for review by noon on the Monday before payday
- Resolve escalated employee concerns related to payroll discrepancies or benefit enrollment
- Liaison and Communications:
- Serve as the primary liaison for benefits brokers, insurance carriers, and plan administrators
- Oversee employee communications and engagement related to benefit programs
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (required); Master's or certification (e.g., CCP, CEBS) preferred
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in compensation, benefits administration, or payroll operations
- Prior experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or multi-site organizations strongly preferred
