Financial Operations Coordinator

Job Overview:

The Financial Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting financial reporting for our clients. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create or maintain accurate records of financial transactions using various accounting systems, including QuickBooks Online.
  • Process invoicing, accounts receivable, bills, and expense management software to ensure timely payment and minimize outstanding balances.
  • Manage payroll through a payroll service, handle other accounting entries, and reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger account balances.
  • Verify, allocate, and post details of business transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support for audits by external entities and prepare reports to show statistics, helping to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as accounting or finance.
  • At least 5 years of experience in full-charge bookkeeping or staff accounting, including account reconciliation and work paper preparation.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required, while experience with Bill.com is highly valued.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, data management aptitude, analytics, and reporting preparation are essential for this role.
