We are currently seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our team. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where you will support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounting entries, and assisting with reporting.

A Snapshot of Your Role:

In this key position, you will be responsible for reconciling balance sheet accounts, supporting the month-end and year-end close processes, maintaining general ledger entries, and assisting with journal postings.

You will also play a critical role in preparing BAS, GST, and other tax-related documentation, investigating and resolving finance-related queries, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards and tax requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes to meet deadlines and budget
  • Maintain general ledger entries and assist with journal postings
  • Prepare BAS, GST, and other tax-related documentation in a timely and accurate manner
  • Investigate and resolve finance-related queries and concerns
Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience in Financial Services, preferably in accounting and finance roles
  • Proficiency in accounting software and systems
