Chief Financial Strategist

The Chief Financial Strategist position plays a pivotal role in driving the organization's financial vision forward. This individual is responsible for overseeing and directing all financial processes to ensure timely and accurate financial analysis, assessment, and recommendation.

This position is crucial in setting annual targets and budget, as well as projecting annual cash flows. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to mentor and lead a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Operations: Ensure functional and stable financial processes; monitor liquidity; ensure tax compliance; coordinate with internal/external parties for issue resolution and process improvements; mentor team members.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare annual budgets and targets; project financial performance and cash flows; conduct comprehensive financial statement analyses; assess monthly branch performance, variances, and cash flow projections; create financial models to improve performance.
  • Financial Recommendation: Deliver timely financial recommendations based on data analysis; suggest cost-saving and revenue-enhancing strategies; provide financial inputs for decision-making; communicate financial health, strengths, and weaknesses to management and relevant departments.
  • Team Collaboration & Leadership: Coordinate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders; mentor direct reports to improve performance and compliance; foster continuous improvement in financial operations.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Align financial operations with company goals through budget planning, performance tracking, and implementation of strategic financial initiatives.
Qualifications
  • At least eight (8) years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting
  • At least five (5) years of experience in leadership/people management position
  • Strong background in day-to-day financial operations and strategic financial planning
  • Ability to work in a hybrid setup
