About the Position

This role requires a high degree of technical expertise and leadership skills to guide a team of engineers.

Work across front-end, back-end, infrastructure, and deployment, driving architectural decisions and leading the delivery of scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and lead the technical architecture for our AI agent platform.
  • Mentor a small team of engineers (initially 2–3, scaling up to 10+).
  • Collaborate with founders, product, and engineering to align architecture with business goals.
Hands-On Development
  • Design and optimize scalable systems using Next.js, Node.js, JSON, Axios APIs.
  • Develop automation workflows using N8N and integrate vector stores/databases.
Infrastructure & Deployment
  • Manage deployments using Docker, Docker Compose, hypervisors.
  • Oversee Linux-based development environments, including scripting and performance optimization.
  • Implement and maintain secure local and remote deployments.
Security & Networking
  • Architect and secure local networks and deployment environments.
  • Contribute to security discussions as the company scales to larger customers.
  • Work across multiple projects balancing optimization of existing systems with rollout of new features.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven expertise in AI automation and workflow orchestration (e.g., N8N, JSON, vector stores, databases).
  • Advanced experience with Next.js, Node.js, JSON, Axios API.
  • Strong infrastructure background with Docker/Docker Compose, Linux-based development.
  • Hands-on experience with local networks, system security, and architecture design.
  • Experience managing remote deployments and instances.
  • Extensive experience with Git versioning and modern project management practices.
  • Ability to balance hands-on coding with architectural leadership in a startup environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Enterprise-grade security architecture experience.
  • Familiarity with large language models and AI agent frameworks.
