About the Role

The Design and Development Team at Patra Corporation seeks a skilled Learning Developer to join their team.

As a key member of the Learning Team, you will play a pivotal role in creating engaging learning programs for learners across various roles. This includes assisting in the development of best-in-class learning content and collaborating with instructional designers to deploy learning content effectively.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from developing course content to implementing and evaluating learning experiences. If you have a passion for adult learning theory, are skilled in using authoring tools such as Articulate 360, and possess excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality learning content using recognized models like ADDIE and SAM, ensuring continuous evaluation and improvement cycles.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify the most effective delivery methods for meeting learning objectives.
  • Create training materials using various authoring tools, including Articulate 360, Vyond, Canva, and the Patra Learning Management System.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in adult learning theory and learning technologies.
  • Develop a range of course content, including graphics, scenarios, job aids, simulations, audio scripts, eLearning courses, and live virtual learning experiences.
  • Lead others in the design and development of learning standards, templates, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Masters-level degree or equivalent experience in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in learning/training/people development, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders, build strong relationships, and influence peers and key stakeholders to achieve results.
  • Experience leveraging adult learning methodologies, learning management systems, eLearning authoring tools (Articulate suite preferred), and MS Office.
