Join a dynamic team as a Financial Administrator where you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee daily bookkeeping tasks, ensuring timely reconciliations, invoicing, expense management, and general ledger entries.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities in Xero, including reconciliations, invoices, expenses, and general ledger entries.
- Capture, code, and file supplier receipts and invoices using Dext, ensuring digital documents are organized and audit-ready.
- Process and track accounts payable and receivable, prepare supplier payments, and chase incoming payments as needed.
- Support job costing by allocating materials, labor, and overhead to relevant projects in collaboration with the builder/director.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly.
- Prepare monthly management reports, including P&L, cash-flow statements, and project cost summaries.
- Assist with Business Activity Statement (BAS) preparation and liaise with external accountants for GST and tax matters.
- Provide ad-hoc administrative support, including report preparation, document compilation, and marketing efforts.

Requirements:- Proven experience in bookkeeping using Xero.
- Proficiency with Dext or similar receipt-capturing tools.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping workflows: invoicing, reconciliation, tracking expenses, and job costing.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in both financial and administrative tasks.
- Comfortable working in a small, collaborative team where adaptability is key.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
