Environmental Health and Safety Technical Writer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Technical Writer to join our team. As an EHS Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and reviewing technical safety documentation sold to clients.

This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that our clients have accurate and up-to-date information to meet their environmental, health, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Create new content as needed to meet regulatory or online auditing platform requirements.
  • Copy-edit current content, making necessary revisions for grammatical, spelling, and formatting errors while retaining the standard internal format.
  • Review content against regulatory, federal, and state requirements to verify compliance with current EHS regulations, making edits or revisions as necessary for compliance.
  • Review safety manual content against multiple online auditing platforms to retain compliance with auditing requirements and processes of platforms.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in technical writing, environmental science, EHS, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the EHS field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Familiarity with EHS regulations and guidelines, such as OSHA and EPA.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with computers.
  • Adaptability and accountability.
