Power Systems Engineer Position

Are you looking to leverage your knowledge of electrical engineering and power systems theory in a dynamic environment? Do you have experience with power system modelling tools such as PSCAD, PSS/E, and Power Factory? If so, this position may be the ideal opportunity for you.

This role requires a Bachelor's or Master of Electrical Engineering degree and a PhD degree is favorable. You will work closely with clients and other industry organizations to develop technical solutions to complex network and connection issues. You will also prepare grid connection application documents and technical reports.

Key responsibilities include undertaking power systems studies, developing wide-area network and individual equipment models, and interfacing with clients and industry organizations. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

In order to succeed in this position, you will need to have a thorough understanding of electrical engineering and power systems theory relating to electricity transmission, distribution, and generation. Additionally, you will need to have experience working with DigSILENT PowerFactory, PSCAD, PSS/E, and be able to guide and mentor younger team members.
