Job Description

We are seeking a Power Systems Engineer to join our team. As an engineer, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of our company.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical engineering and power systems theory, with experience in power system modeling tools such as PSCAD, PSS/E, and PowerFactory.

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking power system studies, developing wide-area network and individual equipment models, and preparing grid connection application documents and technical reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering; a PhD is advantageous.
  • Experience with power system modeling tools, especially PSCAD, PSS/E, and PowerFactory.
  • Site and practical experience in relevant areas, including power system model development, coding, scripting, and automation.
  • Knowledge of the Australian National Electricity Rules and prior experience with Australian grid connection projects.
  • Power system analysis for utility-scale networks, including steady-state and dynamic system studies.
