Job Overview

The Senior General Ledger Accountant role encompasses responsibility for managing and performing general ledger activities, including fixed assets, intangibles, leases, intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, prepaids, GRIR, stock rotation, accruals, and tax-related entries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and conduct variance analysis.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with IFRS and company policies.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and support audit requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to ensure data integrity.
  • Support process improvements, system upgrades, policy development, and mentor junior staff.
