Financial Reporting Specialist

Revenue Accounting Role">

This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate and compliant revenue recognition within the Finance department, with a focus on delivering high-quality, audit-ready financial data that reflects the company's performance and supports key strategic decisions.

">Key Responsibilities:">

• Assist in monthly revenue accounting close activities by preparing journal entries and performing key account reconciliations, including those related to revenue, deferred revenue, unbilled receivables.
• Assist with revenue reporting and analysis by monitoring customer usage.
• Review standard and non-standard contracts to determine the appropriate revenue recognition under U.S. GAAP, ensuring compliance with revenue recognition principles.
• Assist in the order to cash process, reviewing submitted sales orders in our accounting system to ensure proper revenue recognition and compliance.
• Manage and maintain Net Suite ARM to ensure accurate and compliant revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, data validation, reconciliation processes, data flows.
• Work cross-functionally within the organization to drive automation efforts to streamline accounting operations related to revenue accounting and improve the quality of monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.
• Work directly with our sales, customer success, revenue operations, and FP&A teams to obtain needed data and reporting to support monthly revenue entries.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve internal process documentation to ensure clarity, consistency, and operational efficiency across teams.
• Perform special technical projects, analysis, and ad hoc reporting.
• Play a key role throughout the company financial audit, preparing & reviewing revenue-related schedules for external auditors.

">Requirements:">

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or ACCA/CIMA qualifiedor progress toward certification strongly preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in SaaS revenue accountingwith a focus on ASC 606 (desirable not but not essential).
• Proficiency with ERP and revenue tools (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, CPQ).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to support both strategic and hands-on work.
