Human Resources Coordinator Role

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented professional to support our HR Manager in day-to-day operations, including payroll administration, HR systems management, internal communications, and compliance reporting.

The ideal candidate will have strong familiarity with HR platforms and a sharp eye for accuracy when handling payroll data, timecard issues, and compliance reports.

You will also serve as the primary point of contact for routine HR inquiries when the HR Manager is unavailable, helping keep the team organized, responsive, and efficient.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Enter, verify, and troubleshoot timekeeping data in Paylocity
  • Assist with weekly/monthly payroll processing
  • Maintain HR documents and compliance reports
  • Employee Support:
  • Respond to HR inquiries via Slack and email, including light weekend support
  • Escalate complex issues to the HR Manager
  • Recruitment & Communications:
  • Draft job descriptions and manage postings on various platforms
  • Coordinate candidate screening schedules
  • Publish internal HR newsletters and updates
  • Performance & Planning:
  • Monitor performance review timelines
  • Support leadership events and HR planning initiatives

This position requires a flexible work schedule with 40 hours/week, including some weekend hours.

Requirements:

Strong working knowledge of online timekeeping platformsExcellent attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasksFriendly, resourceful communicator who knows when to escalate issuesComfortable handling repetitive tasks, shifting priorities, and managing a to-do list style workflowAble to work independently during off-hours or with minimal supervision
