Lead Software Developer Role

We are seeking an accomplished software developer to take on a leadership role in our engineering team. As a senior member of the team, you will play a key part in shaping the future of our data distribution tools.

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for someone with strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills. You will be working closely with offshore counterparts to maintain and develop high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a local leader for the team and communicate progress and challenges to offshore colleagues
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and software engineering principles
  • Ensure that deployed products are adequately maintained throughout their lifecycle, including participating in on-call responsibilities
  • Engage in design and code reviews for various products across multiple programming languages in an agile environment
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to translate their needs into actionable initiatives
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and be open to acquiring new skills and knowledge
  • Make substantial technical contributions to team projects, with a focus on new enhancements, stability, and performance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or similar technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum of 5 years total work experience
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and web frameworks/libraries such as AngularJS or Vue.js
  • Experience with .NET and its development environment
  • Familiarity with relational databases, data modeling techniques, and ORMs
  • Strong technical writing and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with API design
