About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Specialist to support our core business operations. In this role, you will focus on ensuring accuracy and maintaining seamless processes.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-driven, and thrives in a collaborative environment. They will strive to achieve operational excellence and become an expert in various processes over time.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with data entry, system processing, and reconciliation of payroll information.
  • Perform routine and ad hoc tasks to support compensation program administration.
  • Upload and manage critical documents and data across platforms.
  • Follow established workflows meticulously to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and collaborate with the team to implement enhancements.
  • Work closely with colleagues across teams to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Provide operational support and help balance workload demands during peak periods.
  • Maintain detailed records of tasks, workflows, and updates to ensure consistent operations.
  • Assist in generating reports to track progress and identify efficiencies.
  • Develop expertise in specific operational areas to become a go-to resource.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an operations or process-oriented role, preferably in the payroll or finance industry.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, including data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A process-driven mindset with the ability to follow established workflows.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other productivity tools.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn and grow into an expert role.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with compensation programs or payroll operations is beneficial.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of digital assets or blockchain technology is an advantage but not required.
