Sales Data Analyst Role

The Sales Data Analyst position is a pivotal role within an organization, tasked with uncovering valuable insights at the intersection of data and strategy. This individual analyzes sales performance, builds informative dashboards, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and delivers actionable recommendations to drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze sales performance, pipeline, conversion, and client data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs), conversion rates, and sales cycle dynamics.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to evaluate campaign effectiveness, client segmentation, and territory planning.
  • Support forecasting, segmentation, and quota-setting initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations to enhance CRM data quality, reporting structures, and process automation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in data analytics, preferably in a SaaS, fintech, or startup environment.
  • At least two to three years of hands-on experience using Salesforce as part of daily work responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis.
  • Proven experience using Salesforce software for managing data and supporting business processes.
  • A curious, collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Clear and coherent communication of data-driven insights, valuing diverse input and stakeholder needs.
