Job Title: Global Procurement Specialist

This role involves coordinating supplier management activities within a region, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with standards. The primary focus is on handling back-office functions related to supplier management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Policy Compliance: Ensure all relevant policies, processes, and procedures are followed and escalated where necessary.
  • Policy Development: Support the development and/or implementation of new policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve escalated complaints in a timely fashion.
  • Reporting: Develop expertise on procurement reporting tools and systems used across the business.
  • Issue Coordination: Coordinate issue resolution for issues escalated to the Operations team.
  • Documentation: Create reports for business purposes.
  • Supplier Awareness: Maintain awareness of services provided by suppliers and key changes to those services.

Work Experience:

  • Necessary Work Experience: Requires some relevant work experience.
  • Preferred Work Experience:
  • Experience involving key supplier relationships.
  • Coordinating matters across diverse stakeholders.
  • Procurement or contract management experience.
  • Working with cross-cultural and diverse operational teams.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
