As a specialist in accounts payable, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization's financial transactions. The primary responsibility of this position is to process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  1. Process Vendor Invoices: Review vendor invoices for accuracy and ensure timely payment.
  2. Timely Payment: Ensure that all invoices are paid promptly, and resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
  3. Account Reconciliation: Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions by reconciling them regularly.
  4. Month-End Closing: Assist in closing out the month-end financial reports and assist in the preparation of the next quarter's budget.
  5. Vendor Communication: Develop effective communication channels with vendors and internal stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  6. System Implementation: Support the implementation and maintenance of accounts payable systems and processes, ensuring that they are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  7. Data Entry: Enter data into the accounting system, maintaining organized filing systems and ensuring that all documents are properly archived.
  8. Audit Support: Provide support during audits and maintain accurate documentation as required.
  9. Process Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline accounts payable processes, reducing costs and improving efficiency.
Minimum Requirements:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  2. Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
  3. Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes, including analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Soft Skills: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
  6. Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  7. Work Environment: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
