Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to oversee the financial operations and reporting functions of our organization. Your expertise in accounting principles, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance will be instrumental in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, and driving process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide accurate and timely reporting of financial results.
  • Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial performance assessments to identify key drivers, trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Close Process: Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial reporting activities, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Accounting Support: Coordinate with accounting team members and departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure adherence to accounting standards and policies.
  • Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets, mitigate financial risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
  • Audit Support: Support internal and external audits, providing documentation, explanations, and assistance as needed to ensure audit readiness and compliance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years' experience in a leadership role within a finance team.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in accounting software, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
