Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Accounts Payable Manager. This role involves leading the accounts payable function, overseeing the accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and vendor relationships.

  • Manage and lead a team of accounts payable specialists.
  • Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice receipt, verification, coding, and approval.

  • Manage vendor relationships, including onboarding new vendors, negotiating terms, and addressing payment inquiries or disputes.
Key Responsibilities

The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

  1. Team Management: Manage and lead a team of accounts payable specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  2. Process Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice receipt, verification, coding, and approval.
  3. Payment Processing: Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments to vendors and suppliers.
  4. Vendor Relationships: Manage vendor relationships, including onboarding new vendors, negotiating terms, and addressing payment inquiries or disputes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in a leadership role within a finance team.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
