Senior Logistics Coordinator

This position is responsible for coordinating and supporting logistical operations to ensure the smooth movement of goods and services. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a similar field.
The key responsibilities of this role include tracking shipments, making appointments, and handling various administrative tasks. This involves monitoring and tracking the status of trucks and shipments, scheduling and managing appointments for pickups and deliveries, maintaining accurate records of shipping activities and logistics data, communicating effectively with drivers, vendors, and warehouse staff, preparing reports for the logistics department, performing basic administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence, responding to inquiries from customers and internal teams regarding shipping status and logistics, and participating in team meetings to discuss logistics planning and strategies.
Key qualifications for this position include previous experience in logistics, administration, or a related field, advanced Excel skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and familiarity with logistics software or tools.
