Field Service Specialist

The Service Technician is responsible for performing all service operations on-site, adhering to the service contract requirements, company policies, and KONE processes. Depending on the legislation and work rules applicable in the area, additional requirements may apply.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure quality service and proactive, precise on-site communication (callout ETA, job performed, etc.) to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Reporting: Accurately and promptly report work done at the equipment level to ensure the accuracy of e-Optimum and Customer Notification.
- Relationship Building: Maintain excellent relationships with customers, contact persons, and end-users on site, applying the Ambassador attitude.
- Equipment Safety and Performance: Ensure equipment safety and performance.
- Site Management: Manage the site environment during service operations.
- Risk Identification: Identify site risks and communicate them to the supervisor.
- Action Plan: Take immediate action on site in case of high risk and follow escalation procedures.
- End-User and Site Safety: Ensure end-user and site safety.
- Safe Working Environment: Maintain a safe working environment.
- Safe Working Practices: Follow safe working practices and execute operations according to maintenance and safety instructions.
- Service Visits: Execute service visits (planned maintenance, callouts, repairs) respecting schedules, time limits, quality standards, and processes.
- Workload Planning: Plan workload effectively with the service supervisor.
- Reporting Work Done: Report work done accurately and promptly.
- Timesheets: Submit timesheets based on work execution.
- Proximity Stock Management: Manage proximity stock (inventory, transfers, etc.), identify spare needs, and request spares from the supervisor.
- Service Tooling and Equipment Maintenance: Maintain service tooling, vehicle, instruments, and other equipment in good condition and safety.
- Feedback and Improvement: Contribute to product, method, and safety improvements through feedback to PCM organization and supervisor.
- Regular Updates: Provide regular updates to the supervisor on relevant information.
- Familiarization: Familiarize with all aspects of lift and related technology and attend proposed training.
- Training and Coaching: Provide training or coaching to nominated persons as required.
