Accounting and Financial Services Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounting and Financial Services Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing accounting support to our organization, including the analysis and interpretation of financial statements, accounts classification, and preparation of working papers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the analysis and interpretation of financial statements, identifying trends and areas for improvement;
  2. Classify accounts accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures;
  3. Prepare working papers and financial data for consolidation, ensuring accuracy and completeness;
  4. File and maintain accounting documents, such as disbursement vouchers, receipts, ledgers, and other records, in a secure and accessible manner;
  5. Encode financial transactions in our Financial Management System (FMS) and transmit vouchers to the general ledger system;
  6. Verify and assess financial documents to ensure accuracy and completeness before filing and/or scanning;
  7. Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field;
    Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP);
    Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel; and
    Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
