Job Title: Primary Care Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join our team, specializing in family medicine and internal medicine support.

This role plays a vital part in ensuring patients receive timely, efficient, and compassionate support. As the first point of contact, you will provide exceptional customer service and address patient needs promptly.

About the Role
  • Greet callers professionally and address patient inquiries efficiently
  • Schedule primary care appointments including annual exams, chronic care followups, acute visits, and preventive screenings
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility, including co-pays, deductibles, and network status
  • Maintain and update patient records accurately in electronic health record systems
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely care delivery
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in family medicine or internal medicine
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems, including scheduling, documentation, and patient communication features
  • Strong knowledge of primary care visit types, referral processes, and insurance requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
