Workday Benefits Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Workday Benefits Consultant to provide strategic support for our clients' Workday technology. This role involves delivering innovative ideas and effective solutions to maximize the effectiveness of their systems.

You will lead deployments or coach others in gathering business requirements, designing and configuring Workday solutions, demonstrating configurations through prototypes, assisting with testing, and transferring knowledge to clients.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Workday HCM product suite, mentoring new consultants, facilitating client adoption, maintaining ongoing satisfaction, and ensuring we are referenceable once in production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead deployment teams or coach others in various projects.
  • Document client business requirements through thorough research and analysis.
  • Design and configure Workday solutions that meet clients' needs.
  • Demonstrate configurations through prototype systems to ensure understanding.
  • Assist with testing and knowledge transfer to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Work with confidential data conversion teams to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Configure and test integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions.
  • Mentor new consultants to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
  • Current Workday Benefits Certification.
  • 4+ years configuring and implementing HCM/Benefits Solutions.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous consulting experience with a focus on benefits administration.
  • Deployed Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate, or similar applications.
  • Project management experience with a focus on benefits consulting.
  • Functional experience in HCM/Benefits areas such as payroll, benefits administration, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities.
