**Technical Business Process Manager Role Summary**
We are seeking a seasoned Business Process Manager to drive strategic improvements in our finance department. This role will oversee the implementation of process enhancements, automations, system integrations, and system administration with a focus on optimizing financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with finance and payroll/payments teams to identify and implement process improvements, leveraging technology for increased efficiency.
- Work with the enterprise applications team to ensure changes align with overall business objectives and technology strategies.
- Assist in maintaining, configuring, and optimizing SaaS technologies, including Sage Intacct and Workday, to support financial operations.
- Prepare documentation to ensure stakeholders understand changes, systems, and processes related to financial technology.
- Project manage change initiatives to ensure optimal results and thorough understanding of the work being undertaken.
- Troubleshoot issues related to financial systems and implement solutions, including systemic changes to prevent recurrence.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience administering and/or implementing SaaS technologies, particularly Sage Intacct and/or Workday.
- Significant financial technical consulting experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of core financial processes.
- Experience operating in a consultative role to understand and meet the needs of multiple stakeholders within finance.
- Basic knowledge of APIs, JSON, and systems integration principles.
- Familiarity with AI technologies and how they might be applied to finance.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with out-of-the-box thinking to leverage flexible systems and processes.
- Strong sense of personal accountability and ability to work independently.
- Ability to communicate with and influence cross-functional stakeholders and work collaboratively.
- High emotional intelligence and sense of humor.
