Workday Certified Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Certified Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in architecting, configuring, and testing Workday solutions to meet the specific needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise in the Workday Payroll product suite, including Absence and Time Tracking
  • Lead deployment teams or coach others to successfully gather and document client business requirements, design and configure Workday solutions, demonstrate configurations through prototype systems, assist in testing, and complete knowledge transfer to clients
  • Work with confidential client data conversion teams to help convert legacy data into Workday
  • Assist the integration consulting team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions
  • Mentor new consultants and serve as a professional role model, coaching others on product knowledge
  • Resolve complex tasks and requirements when other team members need support
  • Facilitate clients' intellectual and practical adoption of Workday best practices
  • Maintain clients' ongoing satisfaction, ensuring our organization is referenceable and referable once in production
  • Provide regular status reports to project managers, keeping them apprised of overall project status

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years implementing Payroll/Absence/Time Tracking (PATT) Solutions
  • Current active Workday Payroll Certification
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Previous consulting experience with a consulting/software company
  • Previous experience configuring and deploying Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate, or similar applications
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Functional experience in one or more areas: Payroll, Absence and/or Time Tracking
  • Ability to effectively manage against timelines and goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities
  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
