Job Description:

As a skilled and detail-oriented Collections Agent, you will play a vital role in our organization's efforts to collect outstanding payments from customers. Your primary responsibility will be to establish communication with customers having unpaid balances, documenting interactions and outcomes, analyzing Accounts Receivable (AR) data, and taking appropriate actions to reduce delinquent accounts.

The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills in English, experience using QuickBooks, and the ability to handle collections calls professionally and effectively.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate contact with customers from a provided list to collect overdue payments and update payment statuses accurately.
  • Record all customer interactions, including contact dates and results, ensuring meticulous accuracy.
  • Analyze AR data in QuickBooks to identify overdue accounts and prioritize follow-up activities efficiently.
  • Document collection efforts in a spreadsheet as per company guidelines and protocols.
  • Follow up with customers flagged for aging outstanding balances, encouraging timely payments and resolving issues promptly.
  • Refer customers for service disconnection when necessary, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with the finance and accounting team to report progress, address concerns, and ensure seamless operations.

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, with experience in managing AR reports and recording transactions.
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills for professional communication.
  • Previous experience in collections, customer service, or accounts receivable is highly valued.

  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accurate documentation of customer interactions.
