Chief Financial Operations Manager

This role involves working as a Senior Management Accountant, reporting to an Australia-based manager and collaborating closely with senior management to support the company's financial success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and analyzing monthly management accounts
- Presenting financial results at management meetings
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and BAS/IAS returns
- Managing external auditor relations and audit queries
- Partnering with Commercial Managers to prepare budgets and forecasts
- Supporting Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for individuals with:
- 4+ years of experience in Australian accounting and tax, preferably in media or related sectors
- A qualified accountant (CA/CPA preferred)
- Relevant experience in diverse revenue streams such as memberships, events, and advertising
- Sage Intacct experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with Chargebee and HubSpot is an advantage
