Job Summary

The Senior Bookkeeper is responsible for overseeing critical financial operations across two interconnected businesses.

  • Manage and streamline accounts payable processes for both companies.
  • Accurately process, verify, and record vendor invoices in QuickBooks.
  • Coordinate intercompany transactions between mechanical and transport divisions.
  • Implement and maintain tracking systems for vendor payments.
  • Collaborate with the service writer to ensure proper documentation.
  • Reconcile financial records to avoid payment delays.
  • Develop and document improved financial workflows.
  • Generate regular accounts payable and vendor reports.
  • Maintain accurate digital financial records.
  • Identify and resolve payment discrepancies proactively.

This strategic role requires strong knowledge of accounts payable practices, advanced QuickBooks proficiency, and a minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience with North American clients.
