Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented IT Support Specialist to provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues, assist in the maintenance and repair of IT equipment, and manage inventory of IT assets. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of relevant experience in IT support or a related field and possess strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Offer timely and effective technical assistance to resolve hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations.
- Assist with Maintenance and Repair: Collaborate with our team to maintain and repair IT equipment, ensuring optimal performance and extending the lifespan of our assets.
- Manage IT Assets: Accurately track and manage inventory of IT assets, including hardware and software licenses, to ensure compliance with our policies and procedures.
- Support End-Users: Deliver exceptional support to end-users, resolving technical issues and providing guidance on IT-related matters to enhance their productivity and satisfaction.
- Setup and Configuration: Assist with the setup and configuration of new equipment and software, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Routine Checks and Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance on IT systems to identify potential issues before they escalate, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
Qualifications:
- Open to Undergraduates: Open to applicants currently pursuing a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic Knowledge of IT Systems: Possess basic knowledge of IT systems, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Strong Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-Oriented: Exhibit detail-oriented qualities with good organizational skills for managing inventory.
Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
