Key Partnership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to work closely with our Global System Integrator (GSI) partners throughout their sales cycles and across their sales organizations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in alliance or indirect sales management roles, as well as expertise with OpenStack, virtualization, containers and other Cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Buid strategic relationships with partners at various levels of engagement and alignment with Ubuntu technology solutions
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of Linux and cloud software ecosystem, and open source selling models
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial business terms
  • Develop a deep understanding of partner organizations and sales models, particularly with Global System Integrators
  • Work closely with marketing, sales engineering and product management to deliver on targets, objectives and provide a voice of the partner
  • Lead executive interlocks between partners and Canonical leadership team
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in alliance or indirect sales management roles
  • Expertise with OpenStack, virtualization, containers and other Cloud technologies
  • A strong autonomous, disciplined and hands-on approach
  • Ability to capture customer requirements, evaluate gaps, identify and create opportunities
  • A genuine passion for Ubuntu products and mission
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced and high pressure environments with ambitious achievement goals
