
Business Development Professional

You will be responsible for promoting services to Registered Investment Advisors, securing new clients or growing existing revenue. This position involves working with partners and internal employees on sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement territory sales plans, increasing sales and retention of assets.
- Represent Orion's products knowledgeably and effectively, enabling advisors to identify benefits relative to competitors.
- Develop new revenue opportunities, capitalize on referrals to increase sales in territory.
- Provide excellent customer service to RIA firms and their advisors, meeting expectations and managing relationships.
- Monitor and complete sales goals and activity reports to ensure accuracy.
- Meet agreed upon sales activity goals, maintain current knowledge of markets and industry developments through ongoing training.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to interact with high-level decision-makers, influence and partner in a professional manner.
- Leadership skills to provide a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and efficiency.
- Strong sales skills: negotiation, persuasion, up-selling, closing, follow-up, relationship building and networking.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a field-based territory sales position selling financial services offerings to Registered Investment Advisors.
