We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented administrative professional to join our team as a Bookkeeper Admin Assistant in a full-time, remote position.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing general bookkeeping tasks, managing payroll, and reconciling accounts. They will also handle administrative duties such as correspondence, email remittances, and purchase orders.
Additionally, the successful candidate will have proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Xero Accounting Software. They must also have experience using task management and project tracking tools such as Asana.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and reconcile general bank statements using Xero financial accounting system.
- Enter bills to Xero and perform general bookkeeping tasks.
- Manage payroll, Single Touch Payroll, and superannuation payments, as well as BAS reporting and accounts receivable and payable reconciliations.
- Handle general administration duties, including correspondence, email remittances, contractor payments, and purchase orders.
- Reconcile accounts and manage online storage documents for various jobs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Xero Accounting Software.
- Three+ years of experience with Xero Accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and self-motivated with flexibility to prioritize tasks as needed.
- Experience using task management and project tracking tools such as Asana.
- Capable of preparing, organizing, and managing financial and administrative documents.
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and file management systems for efficient workflow.
