We are seeking a skilled and friendly Front Office Associate to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong attention to detail.
- Welcome guests warmly and ensure they feel comfortable and valued.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve guest issues or special requests.
- Handle incoming calls, screen them appropriately, and direct inquiries to the relevant departments or personnel.
- Provide accurate information regarding services offered by the organization, hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options to enhance guests stay.
- Promote hotel amenities, upgrades, and special offers to guests to enhance their experience and increase revenue.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally to enhance client satisfaction.
The Front Office Associate is responsible for:
- Coordinating with other hotel departments to meet guest needs.
- Providing an efficient check-in process through pre-arrival checks, familiarizing with guest history and profiles.
- Collecting accurate guest data and updating guest profiles in the PMS.
- Handling reservations through various channels when needed, confirming reservation details, and allocating rooms according to guest preferences and availability.
- Assigning rooms based on guest preferences, special requests, and availability.
- Ensuring rooms are properly prepared, clean, and inspected before guests arrive, coordinating with Rooms Controller, Housekeeping and Maintenance as needed.
- Responding promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring guest needs are met.
- Assisting with arranging tours, transportation, and restaurant reservations as requested.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate or Bachelor's graduate degree in hospitality-related field.
- Previous experience in customer service or front desk roles, preferably in a hotel environment.
- Friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
