Account Manager Position Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and building strong relationships with global accounts.

The primary responsibility of this position is to engage executive-level customers and internal stakeholders through proactive and aggressive approaches, leveraging a deep understanding of our value proposition and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain robust relationships with existing and potential customers, generating leads and opportunities through cold calling and email outreach, while maintaining a comprehensive CRM system.
  • Provide in-depth knowledge of Black Box offerings in the region, effectively articulating our value proposition to global customers.
  • 5+ years of experience in tech sales, developing enterprise accounts, and consistently meeting or exceeding individual quotas.
  • Collaborate across geographies, functions, and time zones to orchestrate complex solutions for customers.
  • Ensure high-volume customer engagement and meet or exceed call time expectations.
  • Create quotes and work with internal pricing systems and technical teams to develop competitive proposals.
  • Excel in price and terms negotiation with partners, vendors, and OEMs.
  • Maintain excellent communication and time-management skills.
  • Achieve performance targets established by leadership for applicable Key Performance Indicators.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Sales, or Business, or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
  • Possess a personality that enables engagement with global accounts at executive levels, both external customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong prior experience in inside sales and working with global accounts.
