Job Role

The Tax Filing Bookkeeper plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing tax filings, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure timely payments and minimize financial discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets to support business decision-making.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations to minimize risks and penalties.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or tax preparation.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of local, state, and federal tax regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy to maintain financial integrity.
