Bid Coordinator Job Description

The Bid Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the estimating team by overseeing bid documents, organizing proposal submissions, and coordinating deadlines. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and prepare bid packages and proposals for various construction projects.
  • Ensure timely submission of RFPs internally and compliance with requirements.
  • Manage and organize all bid documents, including RFPs, technical specifications, drawings, and other related documents.
  • Work closely with project managers, estimators, and other team members to gather necessary information and facilitate comprehensive bids.

Requirements:

  • Construction industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with mechanical drawings is an asset.
  • Proven track record of multitasking, Outlook email organization, and excellent time management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality documents under pressure.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office products knowledge (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Strong critical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
