Investment Banking Associate Role

This position offers a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing investment banking firm as an Associate. The ideal candidate will support deal execution across M&A and capital markets, gaining hands-on experience with seasoned founders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting market research, competitor analysis, and industry research using raw datasets to create insights into niche subject areas.
  • Leading financial modeling and valuation analyses, taking raw financial data from clients and creating transaction structuring, working capital pegs, and LBO models.
  • Developing client-facing materials for M&A and capital markets transactions, including strategic presentations and confidential information memorandums.
  • Working closely with senior team members and clients to execute transactions and assess strategic alternatives.
  • Managing execution processes, ensuring seamless transaction workflows and high-quality deliverables.
  • Contributing to recruiting and firm-building initiatives.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • 1-2 years of experience in investment banking or comparable roles.
  • Strong academic credentials preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and financial modeling, including LBO, 3-statement modeling, and detailed business plan forecasting.
  • Ability to adapt and find creative solutions to aid efficiency.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders.
  • Self-motivation and independence in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong client relationship focus, directly working with clients and communicating their needs.
