Role Overview

The Acquisitions Analyst plays a key role in supporting the acquisition and finance teams with tasks such as financial analysis, market research, due diligence, investment presentations, and pipeline management.

BH Properties is a privately held commercial real estate investment firm focused on value-add acquisitions in office, industrial, retail, and multi-family properties throughout the Western United States.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform detailed financial analyses to support potential investments.
  2. Review offering memoranda, income statements, balance sheets, cash flows, and lease documents.
  3. Conduct thorough market research for investment decision-making.
  4. Prepare high-quality presentation decks for investors.
  5. Assist in property-level due diligence, including rent roll review, loan document analysis, and coordinating with third-party vendors.
  6. Perform market-level due diligence, including sale comparables, lease comparables, and analyzing investment trends.
  7. Manage and maintain the acquisition pipeline efficiently.
  8. Provide administrative support to the acquisition and finance teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  1. Relevant degree from a reputable institution (Latin honors or better).
  2. Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, or accounting preferred.
  3. MBA degree is advantageous.
  4. 2-5 years of experience in real estate asset management, finance, or acquisitions.
  5. Experience working with top consulting firms or financial institutions beneficial.
  6. Ability to analyze and evaluate real estate opportunities effectively.
  7. Quantitative evaluation skills, particularly with ROI, cash flow, and NOI calculations.
  8. Advanced Excel modeling skills required.
  9. Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  10. Ability to deliver error-free work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
  11. Unwavering integrity and ethics.
