The primary goal of this Commercial Manager role is to drive commercial growth and expansion across the Asia-Pacific region. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies, identifying new opportunities, and overseeing trade and distribution projects in key markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Distributor Management:
    • Manage contracts with distributor partners and ensure compliance with sales goals and targets.
    • Develop and implement sales depletion and management strategies to monitor customer sales performance.
    • Provide monthly competitive activation and pricing reports from both distributors and direct accounts.
    • Maintain consistent merchandising and planogram standards across all channels.
    • Implement SKU channel strategy to maximize sales and revenue growth.
    • Maintain pricing objectives and establish relationships with key accounts and distributors.
    • Conduct bi-weekly meetings with main distributors and perform periodic trade visits with specific agendas.
    • Set quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with team members and APAC head.
  • Sales:
    • Achieve annual company sales targets and deliver volume growth through effective sales strategies.
    • Work closely with distributors and key accounts to generate annual volume forecasts.
    • Secure additional SKU listings in the account universe.
    • Obtain retail displays and signage to increase brand visibility.
    • Sell-in promotional packs and new product developments (NPDs).
    • Collaborate with marketing on partnership trade deals, including budget management and proposal drafting.
    • Create a pipeline of leads for key accounts and identify new business opportunities.
  • Account Universe:
    • Grow the account universe through work-withs and customer engagement initiatives.
    • Track account universe performance using regular reports.
    • Maintain and update account universe templates to ensure accuracy and consistency.
    • Develop segmentation reports to analyze account performance by type (e.g., bar, restaurant, club).
    • Ensure store listing compliance and maintain high account retention rates.
  • Customer Engagement:
    • Conduct monthly store checks of the retail universe to assess sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Arrange monthly or quarterly training sessions with key retail and point-of-sale (POS) accounts as needed.
    • Build strong relationships with retail and POS key accounts to drive sales growth and loyalty.
    Requirements
    • Possess knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
    • Have working knowledge of office equipment.
    • Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) or similar office suites like Google Suite.
    • Demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills.
    • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Hold a college degree, preferably with marketing experience.
    • Show ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Display a deep understanding of the brand, its business model, customers, and consumers.
    • Be a team player with leadership traits and ability to adhere to corporate policies.
    • possess at least 5 years of valid sales experience locally, regionally, or globally.
